Life in General
Some thoughts on the everyday stuff.
There’s something nice about not having a point. Most of what makes up a day doesn’t really lead anywhere — making coffee, waiting for the bus, staring out a window for a bit too long. None of it is productive in any meaningful sense, and that’s fine.
I think we overcomplicate things by trying to turn every moment into something useful. Not everything needs a takeaway. Sometimes a walk is just a walk. A conversation doesn’t have to be networking. Dinner doesn’t need to be optimized.
The older I get, the more I appreciate the ordinary. The stuff that doesn’t make it into any highlight reel. Quiet mornings, familiar routes, the weird comfort of routine. It’s not exciting, but it’s real, and it’s mine.
Anyway, no big conclusion here. Just felt like writing something.
